Since 1959 Celli’s butchery has guaranteed its customers safe, high quality meats from the PGI Marchigiana breed of adult bovines. The selected and controlled bovines are raised on uncontaminated pastures in Pietro Grazia’s farm in the area of Miniera in Novafeltria.
Agostino Celli, the patriarch of the family, together with his wife Ruffina Cinarelli, sold meat to the entire Montefeltro area in his old butcher’s shop. Replaced by the new “Bottega della Carne,” today’s butcher shop is managed with the same passion by Agostino’s son Domenico and his wife Donatella Cedrini.
In 1982, when the senior Celli handed over the shop to his son and his wife, the main focus of the business became the promotion of the genetic, historical, and gastronomic heritage of the Montefeltro area, in addition to the innovation of tools and the maintenance of high professional competence.
